Acetaldehyde is a carsinogen that L-cystein can render ineffective. L-cysteine is a common amino acid available over the counter.
The global food and beverage industries use Acetaldehyde over 1 million tons a year. It can be found in most processed foods and drinks where it is used to improve the taste. Acetaldehyde is also present in in varying quantities in most fermented products and even in some yogurts and beers.
However, it is paramount where L-cystein becomes first available for the body and the patented Acetium has a break through advantage over all other alternatives.
In October 2009, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), which forms part of the World Health Organization (WHO), classified Acetaldehyde included in and generated endogenously from alcoholic beverages as a Group I human carcinogen.
The above tells Acetaldehyde to be equally dangerous carsinogen as tobacco and asbestos. It took more than 30 years of constant media war and law suits against the tobacco industriy to have the legal system to accept that tobacco was the reason for excessive health cost and deaths among all those using any tobacco products and inhaling tobacco smoke even around the smokers.
Expect Acetaldehyde battle to last long and be bloody. The Food and Beverage industries are still slumbering happily in their countless food processing plants, bottling plants and breweries. The money flow through this industry group is enormous compared to what the tobacco had.
"Our surprisingly complex internal ecology has been a hot topic in medicine lately. Initiatives such as the Human Microbiome Project2, an extension of the Human Genome Project, have been working tirelessly to probe potential links between the human microbiota and human health, and to construct strategies for manipulating the bacteria so that they work with us rather than against us.
Acetiumaldehyde is a powerful industrial taste enhanger that will make almost anything taste good. We have to ask seriously:
Our Digestive System Dictates Whether We are Sick or Well
The science is now convinced that the tiny "creatures" living in our gut are there for a definite purpose. Known as your microbiome, about 100 trillion of these cells populate your body, particularly your intestines and other parts of your digestive system.
In fact, 90 percent of the genetic material in our body is not ours, but rather that of bacteria, fungi, viruses and other microorganisms that compose our microflora.
True, some of these bacteria can make us sick; for example, the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases recently found Crohn's Disease may be caused by immune responses to certain gut microbiota.
But the majority are good, and they work together as helpmates to aid our digestive system and keep us well. Beneficial bacteria, better known as probiotics, along with a host of other microorganisms, are so crucial to our health that some researchers have compared them to "a newly recognized organ." For example, we now know that our microflora influence our: 1) Genetic expression; 2) Immune system; 3) Brain development, mental health and memory; 4) Weight, and 5) Risk of numerous chronic and acute diseases, from diabetes to cancer.
